Further rescuers

There were other rescuers mentioned in the newspaper articles, however it has not yet been possible to positively identify them.  Amongst them were Fred Wilson from Normanton, who was an assistant Mining Inspector, working for Frank Newby Wardell, and led a rescue party of 8 men.  Fred was using a Stokes Alcoholic lamp to test for gas, and found none in the district he was searching.  The other men referred to were:
